Peking Chinese Restaurant in Wytdeville

Good friendly service. Liked the egg rolls. But the crab rangoon was mediocre. Asked for medium spicy, but there was no pow in my Kung Pow Chicken. I would give them another chance though.

The food, as always was excellent. My server, kylee, was amazing!! If you like chinese food this is the place to go

The people are trying to give you the best experience even during this pandemic. Cheap prices but quality food. Highly recommend.

Just....WOW. Who of us has not eaten our Americanized Chinese favorites? Well, for the novice and the expert: Do not miss Peking in Wytheville. The chefs are easy on the sauce, tasty morsels are - when appropriate - lightly fried, obvious deep attention is paid to the seasoning. Whatever entree you decide upon, do yourself a gigantic favor and accompany it with the Won Ton soup. Know what? You could (but don't really - eat it all) skip the main course and double up on the soup. Buddha has grinned upon us Americans and given us a present - of all places, in Wytheville!

It’s a pretty big place so fitting large groups of people won’t be an issue here. They have the place nicely decorated with Chinese ornaments and whatnot. The waiters are friendly and always willing to help. The food is alright. I’ve had much better Chinese food elsewhere. A lot of the food seemed bland; not much flavor in them despite the looks of the pictures. I ordered very hot the chicken curry but it was maybe mild at best. I will say it’s worth coming here yourself to try it. I’ve had many Asian foods before and that’s probably why I’m giving it a low rating because I’ve had it better elsewhere. There’s also a buffet here but we were too late for it I guess so we ordered food instead.

Food was excellent, service was fast and courteous. Amazing how a 5 star dining can be in a tiny town. The dining area is clean, and fresh looking. The prices were affordable, and lots of food for my money. Traveling from Indy to NC, it was amazing to find this place on top of the hill in a tiny town.

The service was amazing, water always full and extremely friendly people. Their orange chicken was perfect in my opinion.

This restaurant is always what I get in Wytheville. I recommend the sesame and honey mustard chicken. The way they prepare their chicken is my favorite - thin slices without big pieces of breading or chewy parts. Must try!

Great service and food!

Peking never fails to deliver it's great for a get together with friends or family tables for 2 or to many to count without loosing the intimate setting that me and my wife and close friends value everytime we have a opportunity to go out definitely worth a try and if you like some spirits with a meal might be best to start light they are a very generous establishment..the orange chicken is a great choice I prefer dragon and Phoenix but you have to go above mild to get any heat enjoy your visit I sure have

Had a great lunch here. Very resonably priced and decent lunch portion for the money. Establishment was very clean. My only complaint was the sweet tea wasn't very good (most Chinese and japanese places don't have good tea though)

I find their general tso's chicken to be the best I've found anywhere. Authentic decor accented by some really beautiful pieces of art. Very friendly staff as well.

After a long drive I was seeking some anthentic chinese food to warm my stomach. I did not expext too much, but the food here is beyond my expectation.

Had some of the worst Lo mein noodles ever. Noodles belong in some chicken noodle soup by the taste. Definitely not Chinese noodles.

I've been eating here for over 15 years. The food is far better than you'll find at any other area Chinese restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the service is fast with the food rushed out to you steaming hot. Friendly wait staff, clean premises.

All I can say,This place is amazing, the food has NEVER disappointed me, the Sushi is immaculate, 6/5 stars.

I believe we had their best waitress. The food was great, inexpensive, plentiful...and the service was outstanding. I would recommend to anyone and everyone who might head that way. I am so glad we stopped to eat there. Our waitress (young w/glasses and tall) is a diamond in the rough.

I have worked there and the kitchen is very clean and Chin takes wonderful care of her employees. The absolute best Chinese food I have eaten from coast to coast! Every time I am in Wytheville, I try to take the time to eat there and say Hello to Chin. Now I'm hungry for C-13 extra spicy with fried rice!!😋

You order, and iit shows up almost instantly. The price is right. The sesame chicken and the house special are always good bets. You will want to know that the tea is a Chinese blend. Not bad just different. This is a great place to have meetings by the way.

Super awesome tasty food with very fast friendly take out service. Rare find during this crisis that is well worth stopping to eat here.... I would stop everyday here all the time if I were in town.

This place is shockingly good, worth the stop away from the chain restaurants that share the same exit.

The staff was great. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing.

The orange chicken was pretty good. I thought it was the same as orange peel chicken but it wasn't. My husband General Tso chicken was good. He enjoyed the vegetables as they were crispy and not over cooked. The restaurant was convenient to our hotel and I-81/I-77. We will definitely order from Peking again.

This place is ALWAYS busy.... But once you eat here, you will find out why! Sunday's offer a buffet which is a plus with the crowd, food is always fresh, hot, and delicious.

Very well prepared food, attentive staff and really fun decor. Check my ratings, VERY few 5 Star ratings, but these guys earned it!

Food could have been better.

We stop here every year on our way home from vacation. It is close to the Holiday Inn Express. The service was great this year as always. The food is amazing. Everything is cooked fresh. This is not a buffet. The crab ragoon is perfectly cooked and is made with real crab instead of just cream cheese. The eggs rolls are delicious. You can choose mild, medium or hot for the general zhou chicken. I would highly recommend stopping here, you won't be disappointed.

The service was good but the food was not. My husband's orange chicken was gross and the sesame chicken was soggy. Very disappointed.

Beautiful decor, best hot n sour soup I've ever eaten and wow my orange chicken and moo goo gy pan. The chicken, veggies every thing was extremely fresh and we'll made! Thanks for an awesome lunch.

Always consistently delicious food! I've lived in many states and no other Chinese food compares. I recommend the sesame chicken with fried rice, egg rolls with house duck sauce, or the shredded pork with garlic sauce. However I've never tried anything I didnt like there.

Much different and far removed from your typical Chinese take-out joint, the Peking is a local institution with an expansive menu and unique takes on traditional dishes.

The service was excellent! Sheri was outstanding! the waitstaff was working hard, running to and from kitchen trying really hard. I wish the owners would step in and help more. Unfortunately our dishes were a tad too sweet and we love sweet. The hot and sour soup though was fantastic. The ambiance was exceptional, so many interesting Chinese decors.

A well established restaurant in wytheville. This is not the usual strip mall Chinese grab and go place. The food is real and delicious. I had the San Sen lo mein and it was delicious. I always eat here when I'm in town.

Great value and great food. Lunch specials were perfect balance for size, portion, and variety.
